A show following the path of baseball phenom Shohei Ohtani, a two-way player who came to the MLB from Japan as both a pitcher and hitter. Hosted by me and Kevin De Los Santos.
We have covered all six seasons of Ohtani’s career in the podcast since he came over in 2018. There is also a companion newsletter (more below).

In 2023, I launched a newsletter for OCTA at the start of the World Baseball Classic where Ohtani was playing for Japan.
After covering that tournament, I did a newsletter edition for every week of the regular season – for 30+ total.
And now in 2024, Ohtani begins a new era with the Dodgers…
