One of my favorite films of all time is the 1971 classic, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
There was no way while I was in Munich that I was going to possibly miss out on visiting the stomping grounds of where some of the movie was shot. Although it's only a section of the areas, and it's changed a good amount since then, I still saw enough elements from the original scenes to get chills and have a bit of an out-of-body experience. From the factory gates to the clock tower, it was enough to make the experience worthwhile. I even came across this crazy traffic light installation right next to the clock tower, which felt perfectly fitting and reminiscent of the Wonka spirit.
